Top Dog Kennel is a full service boarding/grooming
facility that operates 365 days a year. We are entrusted with the care, health
and well being of our clients pets.
Duties for the full time/part time Kennel Assistant include but are not
limited to:
Cleaning and disinfecting indoor-outdoor kennel runs
and cat cages using acceptable cleaning products, cleaning standards
and procedures as directed. Maintaining indoor-outdoor kennel runs in good
order. Cleaning and disinfecting all cages in the kennel van. Monitor and
oversee the general well being of all dogs and cats in the kennel while on duty
and report any symptoms or problems to the kennel owners. Assisting in any other
area of the kennel when needed.
Requirements:
Able to lift 75 pounds. Able to work indoors and
outdoors in all weather conditions. Able to handle dogs and cats properly.
Able to walk and/or run with dog on leash. Must report to work on time
when scheduled. Must be able to work
rotating schedule (day/night shift) to include rotating weekends and holidays.
Training provided in grooming, showing, handling
,breeding, obedience and conformation training to the right person.
